PAST EVENTS
On Wed 12/30 Fred H, Fred W, Richard, Charlie, Bill C, Rick and Jeannine gathered at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Bill left early to volunteer at the Clinic. Rick donated Platelets on New Year’s Day at the Red Cross. We had a business / BOD meeting Jan 6, it was very nice for us all to meet once again after almost three weeks apart. Rick mentioned that the tent was repaired before Christmas and is back in the shed. We discussed the website and newsletter distribution, and of course the budget. Peter Stephenson held a Div 21 Council Meeting (DCM) Sat 1/9 in Suffolk. Fred W, Liz, Paul, Fred H, and Rick attended. During the DCM, Linda and Lankford were participating at the Cap Dist Foundation meeting in Fredericksburg. Earl Johnson with the Social Security Administration was our speaker 1/13when we had several Key Clubbers attend along with fellow Kiwanians from Great Bridge. Olivia presented us with the homearama check and shared that we will have a similar fundraising opportunity in May.
