Welcome to the web site of the
Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake.
Our club has been serving the community for over 60 years. Our members are service-minded men and women who take pride in volunteering their time and talents to make our community a better place to live and work.
Based on the needs in Chesapeake, Hampton Roads, and beyond, we support other non-profit groups and events that improve people’s lives. We sponsor four Key Clubs at Chesapeake High Schools and a Builders Club at a Middle School. These youth programs provide leadership and growth opportunities for the students that attend our area schools.
Our primary fundraiser each year is the Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake Shrimp Feast. At this event we have the opportunity to interact with hundreds of our neighbors, work with our great Key Clubbers, and have a great time while raising money for several area children’s charities.
We invite both men and women, 18 years and older, who are like minded and desire to learn more about our growing service organization to contact: Fred Woodall at fwoodall1@cox.net. We meet for breakfast weekly at 7:15, Wednesday mornings at Greenbrier Country Club on Volvo Parkway in Chesapeake. Please contact us ahead of time if you would like to visit our club.
